A standard bingo card is a 5x5 grid with a title at the top and a FREE space in the center. On a single letter-size page, the card is usually about 5 inches wide and 5 inches tall, leaving room for a title and a border.
The card size changes when you print multiple cards on one sheet. Two cards per page makes each card about 3.5 to 4 inches wide, while four cards per page makes each card about 2.5 to 3 inches wide.
Standard bingo card dimensions
- Single card per page: about 5 x 5 inches for the grid.
- Two cards per page: about 3.75 x 3.75 inches each.
- Four cards per page: about 2.75 x 2.75 inches each.
- Header row adds about 0.5 to 1 inch above the grid.
- Margins should be at least 0.5 inches for most printers.
Letter vs A4 paper
US Letter paper is 8.5 x 11 inches, while A4 is 210 x 297 millimeters. The generator supports both sizes. A4 is slightly narrower and taller, so a single card per page may have a little more vertical space and a little less horizontal space.
Large-print bingo cards
For senior centers or low-vision players, print one card per page and use a large, bold font. You can also increase the square size by choosing a blank 5x5 template and formatting it with larger text. See our Large Print Bingo Cards guide for more details.
Choosing the right size for your group
Use one card per page for young children or anyone who needs large text. Use two or four per page for adult groups, classrooms, or events where you need many cards quickly. Always print a test page to check readability before printing a full set.
