How to run human bingo

• Print one card per person and hand out pens as people arrive.
• Players mingle and ask questions until a prompt matches someone.
• That person signs or initials the square. One signature per person is the usual rule.
• The first player to complete a row, column, or diagonal calls bingo.
• For a longer session, keep playing until someone fills the whole card.

Office parties and team events

Human bingo works especially well for onboarding groups, all-hands meetings, and holiday parties because it gives quiet people a script for starting a conversation. Mix easy prompts that most of the room will match with a few rare ones so the game does not end in three minutes.

For office bingo, add prompts drawn from your own workplace: has presented at a company meeting, has worked in two departments, joined during the last hiring wave, or knows what the third-floor printer code is. Familiar references get bigger laughs than generic facts.

Virtual and Zoom bingo

For remote teams, email the PDF before the call or share your screen with a single card everyone fills in. Run a quick round-robin where each person shares two facts about themselves, and let players mark any square those facts satisfy.

Breakout rooms of four or five make the game feel like the in-person version. Give each room five minutes, rotate once, then come back and check cards together.
