For a lesson-specific game, replace the list with names and terms from that week's story. A lesson on Noah's Ark, for example, could use ark, flood, rainbow, dove, and animals two by two.

Ways to play

• Name and clue: read a short description instead of the word itself, such as "the shepherd boy who became king," and let kids find David.
• Book order round: call books of the Bible and have kids find them in the order they appear.
• VBS station game: run a quick round between craft and snack stations to reset attention.
